About Us
What has a wheelbarrow got to do with Mortgages?
When you think of a wheelbarrow, what comes to mind? For many, it’s an essential tool in the garden, helping to move stone, earth, plants, or even weeds. It’s there when you’re mixing cement or setting paving slabs into place. In essence, a wheelbarrow is all about movement and progress, whether you’re building something new, fixing what’s broken, or creating something beautiful from the ground up.
In many ways, this is how I see my role as a mortgage adviser. Just like that wheelbarrow, I help people move forward, whether it’s into their first home, their forever home, or the next chapter of their life. A mortgage can feel like a heavy load, but with the right support, it becomes a tool that helps you build the foundation for something truly exciting.

Hi! I’m Amy, and I’m here to help you navigate the sometimes daunting world of mortgages.
As a mother of one child, one fur baby, and two stepchildren, and a wife to a man who definitely bit off more than he could chew when he married me, I know how life can get busy. But through all the chaos, one thing that’s always grounded me is my passion for helping people achieve their dreams of homeownership.
When I decided to retrain as a Mortgage Adviser, I quickly realized that many people feel nervous or overwhelmed by the idea of talking to an adviser. Let’s face it, talking about finances isn’t something most of us look forward to. But here’s the thing: I believe that getting your mortgage should be an exciting milestone, not a source of stress. I want to help make this process easy, approachable, and most importantly, free of judgment. It’s my job to help you make informed decisions, all while offering a compassionate, understanding approach.
Who Have I Helped?
I’ve had the privilege of helping many wonderful clients through their own unique journeys. Some of the stories I’ve been a part of include:
Helping a client remortgage to remove an ex-partner from the family home.
Guiding a family in purchasing their dream home, using equity raised from the sale of their previous property.
Assisting a lady to buy her council property through Right to Buy, a fresh start after escaping domestic violence.
Helping a client with a small deposit, part-time income, and a child with autism, secure a shared ownership property after a difficult divorce.
Supporting a member of the LGBTQ+ community in purchasing a home after a toxic relationship breakdown involving financial and domestic control.
Helping people with past credit issues who weren’t sure if they could qualify for a mortgage.
And, of course, I work with plenty of first-time buyers, helping them navigate the thrilling (and sometimes overwhelming) journey of buying their first home.
Your Mortgage Is More Than Just a Transaction
For me, it’s not about ticking boxes and moving numbers around – it’s about understanding your unique situation and helping you achieve a goal that may have once seemed out of reach. A mortgage isn’t just a financial transaction; it’s a dream that I want to help you turn into reality.
If you’re thinking about buying your first home, remortgaging, or just want a chat to see where you stand, I’d love to help. After all, your journey to homeownership shouldn’t be a lonely one, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
